Kalamazoo, MI: On Wednesday, October 2, 2025, at approximately 1:55a.m., officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the 1400 block of N. Westnedge for a report of a shooting.
Officers located a 24-year-old adult male in the area with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers rendered first aid on scene. The victim was transported to a local area hospital by Life Ambulance where he was treated for his injuries.
The investigation is still in its early stages, and no suspect information is available. At this time this incident does not appear to be related to the non-fatal shooting that occurred prior to this in the 600 Block of Ada Street.
