On March 31st, 2026, members of the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) and Crime Reduction Team (CRT) concluded an investigation of illegal weapons and drug distribution in the 200 block of Ermine Ave in Comstock Township.
The suspect in the investigation, a 45-year-old Kalamazoo County resident, was contacted and detained without incident. A subsequent search of the suspect residence yielded the seizure of a semi-automatic firearm, 127 grams of cocaine, 46 grams of crack cocaine, and evidence of drug distribution. The 45-year-old suspect was arrested on scene and lodged at the Kalamazoo County Jail.
