KVET and CRT Investigation Results in Arrest

On January 15th, 2026, members of the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) and Crime Reduction Team (CRT) executed a search warrant in the 1300 block of Foxridge Drive following an investigation into illegal drug sales and weapon possession.

The suspect in the investigation was contacted in the 4400 block of S Westnedge Avenue and taken into custody without incident.  A search of the suspect found him to be in possession of a loaded firearm and distribution amounts of methamphetamine.  After contacting the suspect, a subsequent search warrant was executed in the 1300 block of Foxridge drive.  During the search additional evidence of drug distribution and firearm accessories were seized.

The 30-year-old Kalamazoo resident was arrested and lodged at Kalamazoo County Jail for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and numerous weapons violations.  Notification of the arrest was also made to the Michigan Department of Corrections as the suspect is currently on probation for a previous conviction of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
