KDPS Seeks Public Assistance in Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred earlier this week.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at approximately 5:52 PM, officers responded to a reported armed robbery at a business located in the 2000 block of S. Burdick Street.

An unidentified Black male suspect, described as approximately 5'10" with a medium build, entered the store wearing black pants, a black hoodie, a black coat, a black ski mask, black gloves, and black and white shoes. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown direction.
