The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is requesting assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred earlier this week.
On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at approximately 5:52 PM, officers responded to a reported armed robbery at a business located in the 2000 block of S. Burdick Street.
An unidentified Black male suspect, described as approximately 5'10" with a medium build, entered the store wearing black pants, a black hoodie, a black coat, a black ski mask, black gloves, and black and white shoes. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money.
The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash in an unknown direction.
KDPS is actively investigating this incident and encourages anyone with information that may lead to the identification of the suspect to come forward and call the Criminal Investigations Division at 269-337-8139.
