The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety (KDPS) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in multiple recent break-ins at a business in the 2800 block of Portage Street. Several crossbows and related supplies, valued at several thousand dollars, were stolen during these incidents.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect as a white male of average height and build, with short brown hair. He is frequently seen wearing a sweater or jacket, along with a face mask and gloves.
The investigation remains in its early stages; however, KDPS is asking anyone who can identify the suspect or who has information about the stolen property’s whereabouts to contact detectives.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 269-337-8139. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Kalamazoo Silent Observer tip line at 269-343-2100, via the “P3Tips” app, or online at www.KalamazooSilentObserver.com.
