At approximately 11:54 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the 1400 block of Fox Ridge Drive for a report of shots fired and a person struck.
When officers arrived, they located a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower half of his body. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
The suspect or suspects have not been identified.
