On the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025, at approximately 6:20 AM, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the 800 block of Woodbury Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two men, a 31-year-old and a 34-year-old, both residents of Kalamazoo, had sustained gunshot wounds. Their injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. Both individuals were transported to local hospitals for further medical treatment.
