On Friday, August 15, 2025, at approximately 01:08 a.m. Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers were sent to the 1000 block of N Rose to investigate an alarm when they were notified that a person may have been shot.
Moments later, KDPS was notified that a subject had arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers contacted the male victim, a 29-year-old Kalamazoo resident who sustained a non-life-threatening injury.
No suspect information is currently available, and the investigation is on-going.
