On Sunday, August 3, 2025, at approximately 5:41 p.m., officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety responded to the 500 block of Florence Street for a report of a shooting.

Four Arrested Following Group Assault at Kalamazoo Apartment Complex

On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Saint Albans Way following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a 53-year-old man suffering from multiple injuries, including two stab wounds to his back.

Four Arrested, Guns Seized Following KVET Search Warrant

On July 30th, 2025, members of the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) and Crime Reduction Team (CRT,) with the assistance of the Kalamazoo Metro SWAT team (KM-SWAT), executed a search warrant in the 4100 block of Lakesedge Dr, in the City of Kalamazoo, following an investigation into the illegal possession of firearms by multiple suspects.
