Public Information Office (PIO)

The Public Information Office (PIO) is tasked with the department's internal and external communications. A division created to increase transparency from KDPS, the PIO relays information on critical incidents to the media and the public through traditional outlets such as newspaper and Radio/TV news, along with the department's social media pages.
