Kalamazoo Man Shot

On October 1, 2011 at approximately 1:50 am, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to a report of a large crowd and shots fired near the corner of Stuart and North Street.  Officers arrived to find a crowd was dispersing. 

 

A short time after the initial call, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to a local hospital after an 18 year old Kalamazoo man arrived there with a gun shot wound.  The victim was last reported as stable and the injury is considered non life threatening.  This incident is still under investigation.
