Kalamazoo, MI - On May 28, 2013 at 0638 hrs Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Circle K at 4117 Portage Rd. An unknown suspect entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the clerks. The suspect fled the store on foot. A K9 track was attempted but the suspect was not located. No one was injured during the robbery.

Kalamazoo: Public Safety Officers had responded to a report of a shooting at Dayshas Convenience Store in the 700 block of Douglas St. on Friday night, 04-26-13 at 11:38pm. Officers discovered a 23 year old Kalamazoo man suffering from multiple gun shot wounds and a 49 year old Kalamazoo man suffering from a single gun shot wound.
